Five Ways Tram Stop New

Overview
Five Ways tram stop is on Broad Street, so it’s ideal for getting to the Five Ways shopping centre, and loads of cafés and restaurants. It’s also just a short stroll from the canal towpaths, Brindleyplace and the Utilita Arena.
Transport & Parking
The best way to get to this stop is, of course, by tram. You can hop on anywhere along the line. The closest train station is Five Ways Railway Station, which is half a mile away - this station also has a small accessible toilet. The closest parking can be found at the Five Ways Car Park on Tennant Street, which is part of the Fiveways Entertainment Centre. I understand there are accessible parking spaces but there's no clear information on how many there are. Charges apply to blue badge holders.
Access
The Five Ways tram stop has two platforms, one on either side of Broad Street, both set right on the pavement, so level boarding is straightforward. Ticket machines are on both platforms – they’re a good height for wheelchair users, but there’s no Braille or headphone jack. Each side has a help point with Braille markings and an active induction loop. There is sheltered seating and tactile paving runs along the edge of both platforms.
