Fort Matilda Railway Station is a two platform transport hub situated on Newark Street in the western part of Greenock, Inverclyde. Managed by ScotRail, this unstaffed station sits on the scenic Inverclyde Line. Passengers can board regular daily rail services connecting local travellers and commuters directly to destinations including Gourock and Glasgow Central.
The station features level access to platform one and a connecting footbridge with stairs leading to platform two. An induction loop system is available at designated listening areas to support passengers with hearing requirements. The station car park contains nineteen free spaces, which includes two dedicated Blue Badge parking bays. Ten bicycle storage stands are provided on site, and local rail replacement bus links stop directly in front of the station.
