Good
An absolutely beautiful spot to look at the lake. We followed Miles Without Stiles guidance: https://www.lakedistrict.gov.uk/visiting/things-to-do/walking/mileswithoutstiles/mws36 There were a couple of places down at the waters edge that had gravel and large stones that weren't accessible with my manual wheelchair. However the other paths including the board walk were accessible which was wonderful. A fantastic place to admire the water
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
Some of the paths were more difficult navigate than others but I was able to use most of the paths in my manual wheelchair. However as an ambulatory wheelchair user there were a couple of points I had to get out of the wheelchair and walk 75 steps or so over the rockier parts
Parking & Transport
Good
We parked in the theatre car park and was able to park for three hours for free with a disabled badge. It was close to the start of the path only a few metres away
Accessible Toilets
Average
There is toilets in the car park area. You are supposed to be able to use the radar key to use the toilet however this didn't seem to work so you had to pay 50p to use the toilet. There was baby changing but not a changing place toilet. It was basic and generally clean. The hand dryer was not working.
