Venue Description

One of the longest running and best-known venues at the Edinburgh Fringe. Teviot, with its neo-gothic architecture, creates an atmosphere all of its own. From the grandeur of the Debating Hall and atmosphere of the Nightclub to the relative intimacy of the Wine Bar and Dining Room, Teviot offers a wide range of performance spaces supplemented by great bars and cafes and a central Box Office. Please note: This venue is only used by Gilded Balloon each year during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August. Accessibility

Seven of our nine performance spaces have step free access and are wheelchair accessible. All of our bars including our garden are accessible via lift. Please note that the lifts in Teviot Row House cannot at present accommodate motorised wheelchairs. The external platform lift and internal lift can only accommodate manual wheelchairs due to weight restrictions. We apologise for the inconvenience this causes. Toilets

Staff are knowledgeable about our venues and are available to assist where required. If you require extra time or a specific seat in our performance spaces please speak to a member of staff on arrival to the venue so we can allow extra time and/or reserve seats if required.
