Gillian Lynne Theatre

Currently showing the 'School of Rock' musical - which was excellent - the New London Theatre is in Drury Lane, the heart of Theatre Land. I was surprised by the limited number of spaces for wheelchair users, however those which were there, had a very good view of the stage.

Whilst access to the accessible seating was via a long and circuitous route, the access host was exemplary and the view from our seats fantastic. I transferred from my wheelchair so not sure where the seating was for people remaining in their wheelchairs. My only reservation about my seat was it was at the top of a steeply raked section of seating so standing to transfer felt a bit precarious - I think I'd opt to remain in my chair next time.
