Venue Description

Main library in Gloucester City Centre. Venue for a wide range of groups: Baby, Bounce & Rhyme; Story Time; Knit & Natter; Share-a-poem; Age UK computer group; Community Wellbeing. Computer buddies on hand to help with job searches, printing, word documents etc. Use the library to apply for a bus pass or renew an expired one. Themed craft activities for children every school holiday.

Accessibility

The library has automatic doors for disabled access. Most of the book stock is situated on the ground floor which is level and accessible using a wheelchair. The first floor has an accessible toilet for wheelchair uses and is accessible via a lift.

Toilets

The accessible toilet has a door which is wide enough for both electric and manual wheelchair. There is an alarm which is checked weekly by staff.
