Godstone Farm is a family friendly farm based attraction situated in the Surrey Hills. Godstone Farm is home to over 500 animals including donkeys, sheep, goats, pigs and alpacas. With a Reptile House and Animal Interactions Barn, where children can enjoy animal interactions and reptile encounters throughout the day. Alongside the animals, there’s a wide range of activities for all ages, including a large outdoor adventure playground and Surrey’s largest indoor soft play, complete with a dedicated sensory area. The farm also features an exciting dinosaur trail and a variety of food and drink outlets, making it a fun-filled day out for the whole family.

Disabled Access at Godstone Farm

All areas of Godstone Farm are accessible to all, including wheelchair users, however we are based in the Surrey Hills, so there are slopes. As a farm environment paths are generally firm but not tarmac, and some areas can be muddy especially after bad weather. All buildings are single storey except the Play Barn, which has a lift to enable access to both floors for anyone with walking difficulties.

Accessible parking at Godstone Farm

We have plenty of car parking space including a dedicated accessible parking area. The car park is gravel rather than tarmac and is situated on a slope, however the accessible spaces are in the flattest, lower end of the car park closest to the entrance.

On-site accessible parking bays are available within 50 metres of the entrance.

Toilets features at Godstone Farm

There are a number of toilet facilities around the site providing easy access in all areas. All toilet areas are family toilets composed of cubicles, and include accessible toilet facilities. Within the Play Barn situated near the top of the farm close to the entrance we have a Changing Places accredited toilet. The facilities in the Play Barn include: a height adjustable bench, a hoist, peninsular toilet, height adjustable washbasin, slip resistant floor, emergency alarm, privacy screen, colostomy shelf, drop down grab rails and wall grab rails.

There is a Changing Places toilet, which includes an adult-size changing bench, toilet, sink and hoist.

Accessible services at Godstone Farm

We hold SEND Play Barn sessions regularly, on the first weekend of every month. During these sessions the Play Barn is open exclusively for families with children with SEND from 9:30am until 10:30am. In the indoor Play Barn, our only two-storey building on the farm, we have an emergency evacuation chair in place to support the safe evacuation of visitors with limited mobility in the event of an emergency.

Designated quiet times

Designated quiet times are available, during which noise levels are reduced to meet the needs of visitors with sensory sensitivities.

Emergency assistance alarm

An emergency assistance alarm is available in at least one wheelchair-accessible bedroom and/or wheelchair-accessible bathroom.

Emergency evacuation chair

An evacuation chair is available in case of emergency.

In all food outlets, we provide vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, and staff can always provide advices of specific allergens. One free carers ticket to support a person with a disability can be obtained at Godstone Farm. We accept various forms of proof of disability including a valid blue badge, DLA letter dated within the last 12 months, PIP letter dated within the last 12 months, a current access/compass card or a letter from a GP
