Overview

We went there for a Sunday lunch after booking an accessible table and speaking to the restaurant regarding Accessibility at The said that they were fully accessible with level access. Upon arrival at the restaurant access to the building was difficult as the turning from the street Into the entrance was so tight and the path was so small it was difficult with cars parked right outside the entrance. Once we mastered that there were several doors to get through, but once inside the restaurant it was warm and flat. The table was a good height so my Wheelchair could Fit underneath allowing me to eat my meal without sitting too far away from the table. The food was ok, I had the fish and chips. Excellent service with a decent final price. Not sure if I’d do this restaurant again due to the accessibility to the entrance as parking was difficult also.

Transport & Parking

There is no car park for the restaurant so we had to park on the street and then try to find a drop curb to get up onto the path. The widths of the paths in certain parts of lossiemouth are not good for Wheelchair with my handrim scratching along the wall for quite a distance due to the path being sonata.

Access

Due to parking being at the premium cars are parked along the path leading to the restaurant which makes it extremely difficult to get a wheelchair along the narrow path into the courtyard leading to the entrance. We persevered but that caused damage to the hand of my wheelchair. Scratching it along the wall for about 200 yards. Once inside the building it is flat however getting to that is very difficult.

Toilets

I cannot comment on the Bathrooms as I never used them and never seen Any signs saying there was disabled facilities.

I would say this restaurant is not accessible as I have been in my power chair, I would not have made it into the building as the entrance is so narrow.
