Grand Central Railway Station

I have taken the Enterprise train from Belfast Grand Central to Dublin Connolly a few times and think it is easy and comfortable and I prefer i t to the bus. While I picked the option for a wheelchair space when buying the ticket online, there was no need to make any other arrangements for assistance. I transferred from my chair to one of the companion seats so I could face the direction of travel. The seat was comfortable, the table spacious and the wifi worked well. A hot drink and snack trolley passed by two or three times on the journey between Belfast and Dublin, so you will not have to stay hungry if you did not manage to pick anything up at the swish new station in Belfast.

Belfast Grand Central Station is both grand and central. This massive building, serving as a combined bus and train station, was nearing completion during my visit—which meant a lot of construction work and a fair trek to reach it if passing through the old Europa Buscentre. At times, I thought I’d never get there! With a BrewDog Bar, Pret A Manger, Starbucks, M&S Food, a sensory nook, and a Changing Places toilet, there’s a lot on offer here. But how does it shape up?
