From its commanding hilltop position, Guildford Cathedral is an imposing landmark. It is one of England’s youngest cathedrals and was designed by Sir Edward Maufe. Disabled Access at Guildford Cathedral

The Cathedral's main entrance has both steps and slope access with wide doors. Once inside the building, most areas are either on one level or accessible via ramps (the exceptions to this are the Lady Chapel and Children's Chapel, which are accessible only by some small steps). The Refectory (restaurant) and Shop have both step and ramp access.
