My sister is insisting on taking me out and about and has bought a paid fot boundless pass giving us free entry to attractions, if we wish to go elsewhere we normally a free carer ticket as I use a wheelchair for most places. I was a little nervous about going to a place that was started by the Tudors. Accessibility it vey good, there is one lift up to the first floor and it is staff operated, it is not noticeable. The staff on duty could not have been more helpful The man who took us up in the lift took us back to the beginning of the exhibition if we had been using the stairs when there are supposed to be steps, the staff took us through roped off areas so we could carry on, where there are some steps there is normally a ramp as well, including the ticket office and both shops. The only thing is need to mention is the cobblestones between the main entrance and the buildings, very bouncy, The gravel paths in the garden weren’t as bad, There were just enough disabled parking spaces, we got the last one. Because of the pass it worked out cheap and we had brought our own food and we both had water bottles as it was a very warm day. Was a very enjoyable time, would like to go back again, when the weather or dry to see round the grounds more. Didn’t use the toilets so can"t rate them but there are quite a few accessible toilets according to the map.
