Not an accessible hotel but great for afternoon tea!

I am a disabled person and a carer or friend of a disabled person and a general supporter of disabled access.
Overall Rating
Good
The hotel does not have any downstairs / accessible bedrooms rooms due to the age and layout of the building. The bar, reception, events marquee and restaurant however are accessible with the use of a fold out ramp. We had let them know it would be me, my assistance dog and her mum. So when we arrived the ramp was already in place and they were excited to welcome us. Overall we think the venue is amazing.

We parked in one of the designated disabled parking bays just outside the main entrance.
Accessible Toilets
Average
There is an accessible toilet in the marquee, however as an ambulatory wheelchair user my handler was able to use the regular toilets near the bar. There is a step to get in but again a ramp is available. It wasn’t a huge step and we did it without the ramp. The toilet on the right was big enough for me and my human to fit comfortably but we left the chair by the sinks.

Excellent
All members of staff were polite and friendly and welcoming and we all had a brilliant afternoon.
Additional Information
From reading the website we knew that the bar area is dog friendly but the restaurant is not. There were no issues taking my dog into the restaurant as a working dog. We sat right by the window with views from the suspension bridges all the way up past @gloucesterquays and beyond. The food was all amazing
