Unsurprisingly, Haymarket Tram Stop can be found just outside Haymarket Railway Station which allows for near seamless transport to and from the airport as well as into the main shopping area and theatre district of the city. Haymarket Train Station is my preferred station to arrive at when I'm visiting Edinburgh as it is less busy than Waverley Station and a lot simpler to navigate.
Disabled Access In and Around
Haymarket tram stop has the same simple layout I’ve come to expect across the tram network. There is a ramp to the second platform while the first platform runs along the pavement outside the train station. Level boarding is possible on both sides which removes the need for boarding assistance, which I love. As with the other stops, there is seating on the platform for anyone who needs a moment to rest while they wait. Ticket machines and smart card terminals are available and reachable from a seated height. You can also purchase tickets via the ET app. The platform edges have tactile markings and there is a help point for requesting information or calling for assistance in an emergency. The help point has a hearing loop installed and braille markings. Signage is minimal but adequate.

I've rated this section highly as there are plenty of public transport links to and from this location. Within 20 metres you have a bus stop, tram stop and train station which is great. Parking isn't particularly good in the area but you may find some on street spaces in the surrounding area.
Accessible Toilets
There is an accessible toilet in the train station and also at the nearby Starbucks.
