Henderson Park is a small public park with spectacular views of the River Tweed. I was able to navigate much of the space with my manual wheelchair, but the paving could do with a bit of an upgrade. Those views though!

The park is small, which is great if you aren't looking for sprawling woodland. I was able to get around in my manual wheelchair but the paving could do with a refresh. There are rails at the ramps, and plenty of place to sit should you need it. I wasn't able to go much further than the rail at the far end of the park, but I didn't need to. I had the pleasure of those views.

There is a single accessible parking space, which is little more than a big bay. It doesn't have hatched markings and the existing lines could do with repainting. There are around 15 standard bays, two of which have EV facilities, though they are the width of standard parking spaces and present a risk of being blocked in by other drivers. The machine offers 50 kW CHAdeMO, 50 kW CCS and 22 kW Type 2 charging options. A local bus route runs past the entrance.

Additional Information
The park is home to the Coldstream Guards Monument, erected in 1960 to commemorate the three-hundred yeas of the Coldstream Guards.
