Accessible vegan food

This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Powerchair
Overview
This restaurant is accessible from the side entrance which is located down the road and round the corner from its main entrance. There is a double door which is quite heavy and which requires both doors open to allow enough space for a powerchair. Thankfully we had a group of 3 and only 1 wheelchair user so once the locked half of the double door had been opened we were able to get in and out by ourselves. The tables are pretty close together and the only real manoeuvring is up next to the toilet which was ok as we ended up sat up there but might have been an issue if we were trying to get into any other table.
Transport & Parking
We managed to get parked right across the road in the residential spaces.
Access
There was no indication of where the accessible entrance was, we were going purely based on a friend remembering that there was a side entrance that he was sure had no step. Half of the double door was locked when we arrived and we had to wait for this to be opened to allow wheelchair access. The layout left very little room for getting about, there was a clear path up towards the toilet but very little space between tables.
Toilets
The toilet was large and spacious.
Staff
The staff were friendly however the service was relatively slow and the till was upstairs so we aren't sure how someone who couldn't access that area would pay with a card. I was charged for my coffees twice which I only realised once I had paid the second time and the guy behind the till was unaware of how to refund the money on my card so gave me cash instead.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The food was great, the coffee lovely and we will definitely go back and try more of the menu at a later date.
