High Force Hotel

The High Force Hotel, owned by Raby Estates, is near the top of the pathway towards high force. There is parking available right at the front of the hotel and a sloped ramped pathway to the hotel entrance at the front. There are two, quite high, steps at the front, but they have a ramp just inside the door, so you can either phone them and ask them to put the ramp out for you or if you have a companion, they can go in and ask them to put the ramp out. The staff are all lovely and helpful. Once inside, it is quite spacious and level without steps, There is a disabled toilet that is easily accessible although I found I had to back out along the corridor afterwards as there isn't space to turn around immediately outside the toilet. But there is space inside the toilet. From the entrance there are two or three rooms you can go to to eat (it's a coaching Inn layout with each room connected along the length/width of the hotel) so easy to go from room to room - to the dining room or bar areas with seating - tables are well spaced out in the main room. I don't know about staying there but don't think they have a lift or accessible rooms - but the food is nice!
