Facilities are excellent, cannot fault even though this was our second visit and we knew what to expect this time. Felicity and David most welcoming. Longer visit and explored surrounding area with Tissington village a highlight
Transport & Parking
Level parking for two cars immediately adjacent to entrance.
Ramp access onto decking with cabins designed for wheelchair access.
Large wet room/toilet with shower chair provided that fits over toilet if required.. grab rails where needed, low sink, all towels and toiletries provided for our visit
David and Felicity both welcoming and helpful. There when you need them.

Plenty to do in the local area, highlights for us this time were Tissington village and Herbert’s Tea Rooms where the staff were great, fetched us a table and chairs and located them next to the path to accommodate wheelchair when all of the outside tables were full on a glorious sunny afternoon. They also have good disabled toilets. The Gate Inn, Brassington, great pub food, welcoming, access to pub is via a short ramp, toilets are not perfect in a very old building but worth checking out in advance if you want a meal in a real pub
