The Holiday Inn Winchester opened in 2010 and is a four star contemporary hotel with an award winning restaurant, bar, lounge and outdoor terrace. The hotel has 141 air conditioned bedrooms and 8 meeting rooms catering from 2 -250 people. All hotel facilities are accessed either by lift or are located on our ground floor. The hotel offers 8 accessible bedrooms all with wet rooms instead of standard bathrooms, grab rails, emergency pull cords and doors that interconnect with another bedroom (ideal for a carer or family member). The hotel also has 8 accessible parking bays and 2 electric car charge points.

Good hotel for the Disabled

Stayed three nights. Hotel is very well set up for a wheelchair bound guest in almost every respect. Modern and clean.

Disabled Access at Holiday Inn

All hotel facilities can either be accessed on the flat or via a lift. Hotel has 8 accessible rooms all with wet rooms and emergency cords. Restaurant and bar menus are available in large print and the hotel has portable induction loops available if required. Staff are fully trained in disability awareness and also fire evacuation procedures for guests in wheelchairs. Yes there are 8 accessible bays at the front of the hotel and a covered area at the front door for dropping off guests. The hotel has its own wheelchair that can be used by guests during arrival and departure.
