Holkham Hall

My mum and I visited yesterday and I would just like to say thank you to all your staff for the help they gave me yesterday. I have mobility issues and everyone was so kind. Carrying my walker up the stairs of the hall so I could enjoy all the Halls amazing decorations. They have a stair climber too for wheelchair users and lots of ramps everywhere. The grounds too were so accessible friendly and I found it so easy to get around. I think it’s the best place I’ve visited and felt so included.

We visited Holkham Hall and the cafe and were very impressed with the forethought that had been put into accessibility and especially the staff on duty. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed our visit - much more interesting than many other stately homes I've visited - not so much history as living history & great to see estate continuing to be important to the local community. Holkham Hall is undergoing redevelopment when we visited so please check for latest information. Accessibility generally great - but please see specific note re stairs in the main house.
