Venue Description

Honeywood Museum in based in a Grade II listed building next to the picturesque Carshalton Ponds. Inside the house has beautifully restored period details including the Edwardian Billiards Room, Drawing Room and Bathroom. Exhibitions tell the story of the house and the people who lived there, as well as the surrounding area. Changing exhibitions showcase work by local artists and display a wider variety of museum artefacts. Lots of activities for families and children. There is a tea room and shop selling a range of unusual items.

Access to ground floor and tea room - one accessible toilet on ground floor. Free entry for carers. Induction loop at reception desk. Video in Billiards Room has subtitles. Interactive video showing the whole house, including the areas of the first floor, on touchscreen in Carshalton Village room. Large print leaflet available.
