Good location but do not expect hotel standards

Very good location Advised in advance no parking on site Bedroom suitable with twin beds and low ledge at side of bed Shower room/Toilet well laid out with "sturdy" toilet seat - shower chair Charging points not at bed so not so easy to charge phone I do not consider this as a hotel it is of a standard similar to Travelodge/Premier Inn Negative - only one lift working - long wait for lift that was operational- no thought from fellow travellers given to wheelchair user who NEEDED access to lift - my carer chose to walk down stairs Reported lift this to reception who were aware that the lift was not working - I was not advised at check-in At check-in evacuation requirements for myself were completed on a form Very expensive at £196 per night

    Needs more awareness training

While the building is accessible in relation to step-free access, there remains (in spite of my constant complaints) and issue with getting into the building (reception area) from the street. One has to ring a bell but the reception staff assume that it is a delivery on another level and they don't see you. Ringing for their attention can take some time and usually I enlist the help of a passing tourist. This is unnecessary - why not a different bell for deliveries and for disabled access? Otherwise the place is accessible.
