Excellent
Very close to Tilgate Park, the cycle path and boardwalk across the large Mill Pond is a flat and accessible walk to watch the wildlife or have a picnic.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
All surfaces were flat and smooth cycle paths or walking paths. The board walk is planks but not very bumpy. There is a barrier to ensure only walkers go onto the board walk - which was just a couple of inches wider than my power chair. It took about ten minutes to reach the pond at a gentle pace from the car park. There are picnic benches.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
There seems to be access from several routes (through housing areas). There is a small car park we found which is not shown on google maps (but is on recent street view) for about 6-8 cars, off Gossops Drive (bottom right of the pond just before Eden Road). A cycle path leads to the pond. One accessible parking bay.
