Kettle’s Yard is the University of Cambridge’s modern and contemporary art gallery. Kettle’s Yard is a beautiful house with a remarkable collection of modern art and a gallery that hosts modern and contemporary art exhibitions. Kettle’s Yard is open Tuesday – Sunday, 11am – 5pm.

Great place to visit!

Kettle's Yard has just reopened and is a fab art gallery with an interesting history! It's located in a 'house' near the centre of Cambridge and there's free entry - you just have to get a timed ticket when you get to the reception desk when you arrive. We only visited the cafe as it was a busy day and we didn't have time to stay - but will definitely be back! Please note - it is an historic building and some of the areas may not be accessible to wheelchair users.

Disabled Access at Kettle's Yard

The galleries, entrance area and education wing are all fully wheelchair accessible. Around three-quarters of the House is not accessible to wheelchair users. Please see below for further information on visiting the House. The Café has limited access. Please see below for details. Assistance and service dogs are always welcome at Kettle’s Yard. We have hearing loops fitted at the information desk and in event spaces.
