The Eagle

I don't usually review pubs because they can be a bit tricky. However I loved this place Great atmosphere, good beer, full of history and good staff. What more could you ask for? Right at the outset though I have to say that although I use a folding four-wheeled rollator I can get about over short distance on walking sticks. If you are not ambulant in any form or fashion this pub (certainly its interior) will prove extremely challenging. Its an old, historical building with all the old, historical building access challenges, but its full of character. It's where Watson and Crick announced that they had found the secret of life and there is the RAF bar where crews left their graffiti before they left on their missions, some never to return. It operates a Greene King app table ordering service which I found extremely helpful and its very close to the centre of Cambridge. Oh...and it serves Abbot Ale!
