Very friendly, welcoming and understanding staff and a wide variety of activities, groups, and courses on offer, however very difficult for people with physical impairments to access
Disabled Access In and Around
Bad
As the venue compromises of upstairs rooms and the building has no lift it is very difficult to access for people with physical impairments.
Parking & Transport
Poor
There is no free parking available at Kyra and paid parking is limited on St Saviourgate as it is in the centre of York. The venue is close to the bus stops at Stonebow in York and has a taxi rank at the end of the street.
Accessible Toilets
Bad
Once upstairs the bathroom is accessible via a few small steps onto a landing. While clean and tidy it is quite small.
Staff
Excellent
The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and make the effort to talk with every person attends groups or drop-ins. It is a safe and homely space designed to make women feel relaxed and at ease as they socialise.

Kyra offers non-judgmental support and information to all women no matter what their reason for seeking help. Their services are tailored to support women to make the changes they need at their own pace by promoting equality and inclusion while addressing social isolation and helping develop sustainable support networks for women.
