Overview
After a recent refurb, Lauderdale Park has some exciting new additions. A new wheelchair accessible merry-go-round and a harnessed swing. The merry-go-round has space for a wheelchair user and a small bench for friends/family. A little tip: if you get excited and feel dizzy after spinning in one direction, do a couple of turns the other way and the dizziness goes away. Please see the attached photo of the swing, the plastic case secures a child and prevent them from falling. The park is a large green area including picnic tables and a cafe and is right by the beach. A fun day for all the family.
