Lichfield Maize Maze

Lichfield Maize Maze is based on a real working farm in Lichfield (12 miles from Birmingham) open for family days out in Summer from late July through to early September, then reopening for Pumpkins in October each year.

In summer, visitors can explore two maize mazes (including a shorter mini maze), wander through pick-your-own wildflower strips and over 150,000 sunflowers, enjoy a huge picnic and explore ride-on tractors, a giant sandpit, and straw bale towers, and stop for something to eat at our on-site Field & Flower Café. In October, we reopen for pumpkin picking and updated maize maze activities. We also have our famous Pumpkin House for family photos.

We also hold Sunset in the Sunflowers evenings throughout the summer; special ticketed events set in the flower fields as the sun goes down. These can be booked separately on our website.

We run Quiet Time sessions throughout the season with visitor numbers kept very low, encouraging a calm, unhurried atmosphere. These sessions are popular for those who prefer things a little more relaxed. Tickets for Quiet Time sessions can also be booked directly on our website.

One carer is admitted free of charge per paying ticket holder (please bring your Nimbus Card or other appropriate supporting documentation). We welcome assistance and guide dogs throughout the site.
