    Lots of DLR route options

This DLR station has two platforms and there was an entrance and exit at either end of each platform. The DLR trains here travel towards Woolwich Arsenal, Beckton, Lewisham, Bank and Tower Gateway. There are lifts, stairs and escalators available throughout this station, providing different access routes in and out of the station. The platforms are located above the street so you have to travel up to reach the platform you needed. The lifts are quite small and some open directly onto the platform, with no barriers between the lift doors and the edge of the platform so some of the lifts have signs recommending that people using the lift enter backwards so that they are facing forwards when they exit onto the platform. The DLR trains stop level with the platform with only a very small gap between the train and the platform. This means you can board and disembark step-free without the need for a boarding ramp. This is an unmanned station.
