This is a fairly small bus station located outside London Bridge Railway Station. There are around five different stops within the station with designations from ‘A’ to ‘E’. Each stop has a bus shelter with seating and a sign displaying which buses would be available from each stop. Each stop has been built with a good height curb which makes it a good height for the ramp deployment from the bus. There was a small information desk specifically for this bus station which was really good to see. Sometimes at larger stations, they just rely on the staff within the railway station. In comparison to how busy the railway station was, this bus station felt quite calm when I visited. It's likely that it can get much busier at peak times but it wasn't overwhelming at all when I was there.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
The flagstones in the floors are well laid and so I didn’t encounter any bumps or lips. The area is right by one of the entrances to The Shard offices, so it is an area that was built up and refurbished relatively recently. This also means all the curbs at the bus stops are a really good height for the ramp deployment. You can technically access this bus station by walking up the road from Borough High Street. However, this road up to the top, where the railway and bus station are, is quite steep. I find the easiest way to reach the bus station is to enter the railway station and use the lifts to reach the upper level. There was a small information desk which was located just next to some of the bus stands and stops. It had a lowered counter and a glass partition with an intercom, speaker system to speak to the staff member. The bus stops were set across three different islands and there were dropped curbs located down the middle of each one, providing a smooth way to move between the three islands and get to the bus stop you need.

This bus station is made up of different stops. From these stops you can get the 17, 21, 35, 43, 47, 133, 141, 149, 344, 388, N21, N133, and N199, and N343. There is no parking nearby. This bus station is connected to the London Bridge Railway and Underground stations. London Bridge Railway Station offers services operated by Thameslink. Southeastern and Southern. Across these operators there are trains to London Charing Cross, Dartford, Gravesend, Hayes, Sevenoaks, Dover Priory, Ramsgate, Hastings, Maidstone East, London Cannon Street, Orpington, Slade Green, East Croydon, Caterham, Beckenham Junction, London Victoria, Epsom, Uckfield, Brighton, Horsham, Three Bridges, Rainham, Luton, Bedford, Cambridge, and Peterborough. This station is also connected to the Jubilee and Northern lines on the London Underground. The Jubilee line provides eastbound services to Stratford, and westbound services to Stanmore. The Northern line provides northbound services to Mill Hill East, Edgware, and High Barnet, and southbound services to Morden. Located within the same area as the bus station is also a taxi rank where black cabs queue and wait to pick people up. There is also a separate area that is quieter and doesn’t require crossing any roads where the taxis can pull up to pick up wheelchair users or anyone else with mobility aids.
