Easy, small airport to access London

Overall Rating

Good

This was the first time using this airport with my husband arriving from Glasgow. It was a nice small airport which was easily negotiable in my wheelchair.

Disabled Access In and Around

Good

Level access to all areas I needed to access. Assistance was pre-booked & was excellent. On arrival I needed to use the toilet but there was no accessible on that level. However a VERY kind member of the information staff assisted me & I was able to use the toilet. On the return journey everything was brilliant again & we would he no hesitation to use this airport again.

I travelled to this place by taxi

After arriving in airport easy access to main door exit & taxi rank. Level access out of airport with wide automatic doors.

Accessible facilities: Drop-off or pick up point

Accessible Toilets

Average

I didn’t use an accessible toilet as I wasn’t on the correct level so don’t know what like they are. Possibly getting an accessible toilet on ground level soon.

Staff

Excellent

All staff we encountered were brilliant - both assistance staff & the general staff were very friendly, helpful & pleasant.
