Thames Barrier Park

This is a really lovely park with walkways that go along the riverside and have a great view of the Thames Barrier. There are two sections of this park, the main part of the part is a large space with pathways along the riverside and large grassy areas. The pathways are all smooth and mostly flat. There is also a children’s play area, some sports areas and a visitors centre. There is then another smaller part which is slightly lower than the main section. This has some sculpted hedges inside and many different types of plants. The pathways through this part are narrower and much more bumpy. There are different types of seats available around the park, even some wooden lounger style seats that look out onto the river.
