Beach at Longniddry Bents car park 3

We went to look at the sea and beach, while having a picnic. The toilets were great. The beach is not accessible for a normal wheelchair, and the grass areas are uneven. Lovely views of the Forth and Edinburgh.

Lovely view over the Forth and the sea from parking area with good facilities

We spent a very pleasant afternoon at this beautiful viewpoint looking over the water towards Edinburgh. There are three Longniddry Bents car parks. For those whose mobility is such that it is easier to sit in the car, this one, the most Southerly, is the best of the three as it is the only one where you can see the view and beach from the car park.
