Lulworth Castle

Lulworth castle looks amazing from the outside but we thought that was the best bit. However we are from the Uk and so probably if you are non Uk and haven’t seen much of our history this would be a good place to go as the inside does give you a flavour of British history and who lived there in the past etc. the inside was gutted by fire in 1929 and not much is left however the exhi inside is done in a creative way to keep the interest of all ages including children I would say. The chapel on site is not really accessible in a power chair because although there is a ramp there is then a step (!) The paths are bumpy and difficult. The church is also tricky to access although the staff did offer to help with the (large, long) ramp. Along with most of Lulworth estate there is no concession for disabled entry or parking.
