I visited this shop for the first time in years and I am pleased to say that it is much more accessible than it used to be. The shop is accessed via a wide manual door and although it was manageable for my P.A., staff were eager to help. I was really impressed by the amount of space within the shop and I was able to manoeuvre round the aisles very easily. Everything is on the ground floor.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
Access was good and all the shop counters were easily accessed.
Parking & Transport
Average
The shop is on the High Street in the town centre within a pedestrianised zone so there is no parking on site. There are disabled bays within the town centre but it is difficult to get a spot there. There are also car parks within a nearby shopping centre and in and around the town centre itself.
Accessible Toilets
0There are no toilets in the shop due to its location but there are facilities in the shopping centre a couple of hundred yards away.
Staff
Excellent
The staff were fantastic. They spent ages trying to help me find a gift and generally ensured that I felt welcome.
Additional Information
I had a great experience here, the whole place has a light and friendly atmosphere made so much better by the friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this shop and I will be back.
