Mansfield Traquair is a restored neo-Romanesque former church located in the heart of Edinburgh New Town. Aptly nicknamed Edinburgh's Sistine Chapel, this unique heritage space features towering ceilings and breathtaking mural decorations painted by the famous artist Phoebe Anna Traquair. Visitors can explore the historic architecture, admire the vibrant artworks, or attend exclusive private events, weddings, and corporate celebrations hosted within the magnificent grand hall.
The venue website states that the site is accessible to wheelchair users. There is level access from the entrance to the reception area, and a lift is available to help visitors navigate the space. The building features an accessible toilet and can provide temporary ramps in the nave areas if required. Assistance dogs are also welcome inside the area with the murals.
