    Accessible nightmare—broken promises, no help.

    COMPLETELY inaccessible. We booked this months a go for our daughter’s wedding. Couldn’t get into the bathroom let alone shower. No room to manoeuvre wheelchair. When we asked for a bath seat we were told no, and they weren’t sure what it was. We complained & were told that ‘the accessible room was unavailable as was being done up’. We were never told once it was not available & booked it months ago. I emailed that night explaining it was unacceptable & was told ‘ they’d pass it on but had looked at it’?! It hasn’t been acknowledged or dealt with. Do not book if looking for an accessible venue. Not only was our room not accessible but the whole venue was full of steps & lifts out of order. We were told ‘to go all around the venue’ if we needed more accessibility. Would not recommend.
