One of the main disabled parking areas is on the ground floor, near Argos. The nearest lift to this area has been out of order for some months now. A sign tells people to go to nearby lifts. Those 'nearby' lifts are another 100 yards away. So as an example, a visit to Boots or WH Smith which are on the 1st floor, involves walking over 200 yards extra, which for many disabled people using a walking stick is simply too much on top of the walk that they've already endured. There are escalators, but again not really suitable for disabled people who are not confident on them. It really is time that this shopping centre caught up with what disabled customers need - and more lifts should be top of the agenda.

Parking & Transport
Bad
Not enough disabled parking spaces. eg. none outside Boots
Accessible Toilets

But they always smell unpleasant and are too hot.

Not really applicable as there are many different shops, and therefore different levels of service. However, the response on Twitter when the broken lift was tweeted, was robotic to say the least.
Additional Information
It's time this shopping centre was modernised to cater for everyone, including disabled customers.
