Good
Melinsey Mill is one of out favourite places to stop at on the Lizard peninsula. It's lovely and peaceful with good food and an accessible toilet.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
As the name would suggest, the cafe is on the site of a 16th Century watermill which has been restored. As such, they've done their best to make it as accessible as possible, but it's not perfect. Most of the paths are gravel and a couple of the concrete ramps are on the steep side. There is a walk around the pond, but it is too narrow to get a wheelchair all the way around as some of it involves going over narrow wooden bridges.

The mill is on a country lane with narrow and steep sections so it might be an interesting experience trying to get to it if you're unused to those sorts of roads. As far as I know there is no public transport route. The car park is gravel but is quite close to the main building an seating area with enough space to make a drop off a little closer if needed.

Accessible Toilets
Good
There is a disabled toilet inside the old mill. You have to go through a room that houses some old mill equipment which you can pass with a manual wheelchair but may be too narrow for wider chairs. The equipment may be movable if you ask. The disabled toilet was adequate for my manual chair but may be a bit too tight for larger wheelchairs. There is a changing table for small children and a suitable bin. There is a sign above the sink reminding the user to only flush toilet paper down the toilet or the sewage system will flood!

During our last visit in the middle of summer there were a lot of wasps.
