I am a disabled person and a carer or friend of a disabled person and a general supporter of disabled access. I have experience of challenges around: a hidden impairment, accessing toilets, dexterity or coordination and moving around.

A wide entrance, large aisles and staff that jump to move anything out of the way that might hinder you.

The shop itself is fairly small, however it is easily navigated as there are wide aisles and plenty of space to turn around with a wheelchair. The entrance to the store is completely open and as such, very easy to use. There are some areas of the store that had a few items on the floor causing obstructions, however the staff jumped into action to move them before I had a chance to get near anything that might hinder me.

There is a very large multi-storey carpark attached to the shopping centre itself with disabled parking spaces on every level except for one. There are EV charging points located within the carpark and nearby are links to public bus services with Cardiff Central train station a short distance away on foot.

Accessible Toilets
There are no customer toilets available at this store, however as it is located within St David's Shopping Centre, there are public toilets available a short distance away within the centre.

Excellent
Staff at Menkind were fantastic and more than helpful. They were very friendly and made sure I was able to maneouvre through the store with ease.
