    Poor

I visited this facility solely to gather information on the EV chargers available at this Esso-operated location. Like many EV charging sites, it falls short on accessibility, with limited consideration for the manoeuvrability of mobility devices. That said, they do have a partnership with fuelService, which lets you pre-notify a member of staff if you need assistance. As it's part of Esso, there's a kiosk where you can pick up snacks and other supplies while you wait.

    Disabled Access In and Around

There’s level access throughout the forecourt, though the entrance to the kiosk has a manual door if you’re planning to go inside. I didn’t see any alternative signage in place.

    Parking & Transport

There are five EV spaces at this location, each one slightly wider than a standard parking space. Bays 1 and 2 are closer to the front, with bay 2 offering more room to open your door. Bays 3 to 5 are set further back. Each bay has a large rubber stopper to stop you from hitting the kerb where the chargers are placed. The raised placement of the chargers creates another barrier, as you need to step up to the machine to remove the cables and charge your car. The card readers are positioned low on the machine, which is helpful if you can reach them. As mentioned, fuelService has a partnership in place that lets you notify someone if you need assistance. That’s great, of course, but it would be even better to charge my car without needing extra help, which only becomes necessary due to the limited space around the machines, the lack of a cable support arm and the chargers being raised on a kerb. There are options for both 150kW CCS and 50kW CHAdeMO charging at each machine.
