A comfortable crossing, nothing to write home about

We took MV Loch Alain on a short crossing from Eriskay to Barra. As the vessel doesn't have a lift, there was no way for me as a wheelchair user to access the viewing deck. As such, I stayed in the van we'd hired while my wife and daughter went upstairs. As far as comfort goes, not having to leave my vehicle was good for me, but it does mean you are left out from the viewing experience others have if you have difficulty with stairs. See the attached video review for more insight into the boarding experience.
