Sensory Friendly

As part of our ongoing commitment to making football accessible for all, the National Football Museum is staging its first autism-friendly early opening, providing a calm and relaxed environment for visitors with autism.

During this time, sound levels will be reduced to a minimum, a quiet room will be available for use, and a range of free activities will be held in the Hall of Fame and on the galleries, including crafts, handling tables and trails.

All of our Football Plus+ interactives will be available to play free of charge during this period. These activities are suitable for children aged 5-16 years with their parents or carer.

We aim to stage these autism-friendly early openings on a monthly basis. Please check our What's On page for the latest information.
