Disabled Access at National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts and History

All galleries in the Museum of Decorative Arts & History are fully accessible. The site has 4 lifts. Mobile stools are available upon request from the Reception Desk. Wheel chairs are available from the Reception Desk on request. Please call ahead to reserve one on +353 1 6777444. Guide and Assistance Dogs are welcome. Please note that lighting in some exhibitions is low to address conservation concerns around certain artefacts. There are touchable exhibits within the Museum. Please ask a staff member or attendant to help you locate these in the Museum.

Accessible parking at National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts and History

There are 7 designated disabled parking spaces. Please note that, commencing 10th July 2013, the car park in Collins Barracks becomes paid parking, as one of the measures to diversify funding, while keeping free entrance to the galleries.

Accessible toilets are located in the main reception, the ground floor of the Soldiers and Chiefs Exhibition, in the Riding School (temporary gallery) and in Brambles Café.
