Did you know that the filming location for Thor's home of New Asgard is actually a town in Scotland? Well, you do now. St Abbs was chosen for how much it resembled a Norwegian fishing village and it's easy to see why. If you continue past the sign, and down to the village, you'll be able to see Thor's house - it's the white building just past Ebbcarrs Café. There's little to be said about the roadsign overall, but it's a nice photo opportunity for Marvel fans.

The path from the Northfield Farm car park isn't the smoothest, and I worry a powerchair might tip as the route isn't exactly level. The path was quite overgrown on my visit. If comfortable, you may be able to go up the road as I did, as there's a much smoother entrance there.

I travelled to this place by personal vehicle
There is parking nearby at Northfield Farm, though there are no marked parking spaces. The farm would prefer this is used by people visiting the businesses operating in the buildings nearby. 640 metres away, there is also a national trust car park which has one accessible parking space. There are no local bus or train stations, this is very much a place you need a car to visit.
