Good

Fully accessible, chemist and optician in the same building. Automatic front entrance doors but not to consultation corridor or to rooms. Toilets accessible and clean. No hoist changing. Car park secure with CCTV and limited to two hours - need to register number plates at reception. On main arterial road between Prestwich and Manchester. Staff on reception helpful Surgery Staff understanding and willing to offer time to listen. Call to appointment room on screen and verbal from sound.

Disabled Access In and Around

Excellent

Ramp from street (zebra crossing in car park space, flat surface in car park. Front door automatic. Doors in interior a bit heavy. Lift access to first floor Surgeries. Access to Chemist can be from surgery shared main interior entrance or separately from car park. Doors to surgeries and corridors a bit heavy and can be awkward to manage.

Parking & Transport

Excellent

Parking off street, CCTV, limited to 2hrs. Bus stop on both side of the street - traffic light controlled, drop kerbs. Ramp/steps from the street.

Accessible Toilets

Good

Spacious enough for turning space for wheelchair and carer. Disabled toilet identified. No hoist changing space in any toilet - they are not large enough. In reception area
