Disabled Access In and Around

Great! You can enter on the ground floor from New Bridge Street West, or you can enter on the first floor from the side of the building (Princess Square entrance). On the ground floor there is a help point with friendly and helpful staff. There are two lifts that lead up to the other levels of the library.
Parking & Transport
Good
Newcastle Library is very close to the the city centre, there is great public transport links nearby or if you're already in the city, it's within easy walking distance.
Accessible Toilets
0There are accessible toilets and a Changing Places toilet in the library. I didn't use them so can't comment on their facilities.
Staff
Excellent
Very friendly and helpful!
Additional Information
I attended a Disabled Access Day event in the Bewick room on the first floor - which was a great sized space for a small exhibition, plenty of space to move around.
