Norwich Market

This was a really cool and vibrant market in the centre of Norwich. There were so many different types of vendors here: food, clothes, flowers, pet items, jewellery, craft materials. It was really lovely to walk through. However, it was quite difficult to navigate as a wheelchair user. The market itself had a pretty steep incline. So going from the front of the market to the back I was going up quite a steep hill. The walkways were also quite narrow so with the other people walking around or waiting for food, it made it really tricky to navigate some of the paths. While lots of the vendors had displays or menus on the outside of their stalls, it was almost impossible for me to get inside any of them as nearly all of them had massive steps to get in. I also ordered some lunch here, which was super tasty. But the counters were insanely high which made looking at menus, ordering, paying, and collecting food all quite challenging. It was definitely nice to walk through and see, but I would say be wary of going at busy times and if you struggle with inclines then bear in mind that the site is set on a hill.
