Nottingham Trent University tram stop

As expected from the name, this stop is close to many of the Nottingham Trent University buildings. I also found that it was also not far from the Victoria Centre and the route from this stop to the Victoria Centre was quite flat. This tram stop was always very quiet when I was there. There are two platforms separated by the tram tracks and the road in the middle. The tram platforms are higher than the pavement to ensure they are level with the trams. This means there are ramped sections at either end of the platform where they raise and then lower again to between the height of the platform and the pavement. Each platform has some small shelters with perching benches, a ticket machine, a help point, tactile markings at the edge of the platform and a wheelchair symbol to indicate the best place to wait to be close to the doors by the wheelchair space.
