Oban Distillery

Enjoy a trip to Oban Distillery Visitor Centre, a five star Scottish Tourist Board attraction, and home to the Oban 14 year old West Highland Malt Whisky. Ideally situated in the centre of Oban, the distillery is accessible on foot, by car, by train and even by ferry. The distillery welcomes visitors all year round. Come and meet our knowledgeable, friendly guides who are waiting to guide you around the distillery and are happy to answer any questions you may have on the whisky making process. Watch our craftsmen at work producing a malt which is fruity on the nose, and has a spicy mouthfilling sweetness. The finish is long and dry with hints of smoke and salt. At the end of the tour enjoy a dram of the Oban 14 Year Old West Highland Malt in our Dramming Room, before visiting our gift shop which houses an extensive range of fine malt whiskies. See the familiar Classic Malt whiskies, discover the Flaura Fauna Range and marvel at the rare and unique Super Premium malts. Take time to savour a dram or a whisky cocktail at our newly refurbished 1794 whisky bar. No visit to Oban would be complete without a trip to Oban Distillery.
