Old Town

A lovely German town, full of character but also with a modern twist. Site of the famous Deuches Ekt (where the Mosel and Rhine rivers meet) and a great base for exploring this romantic wine growing region of Germany. The old and new parts of town are seperated which allows the older tourist area to maintain its character. The cable car to the castle with magnificant views is 100% accassesable by them adapting one of the cars to take wheelchairs. Disabled get reduced rates and carer goes free. German ideas of a dropped kerb needs a rethink though.
